HOME EDUCATE 

TUTORING IN YOUR HOME

We have a variety of learning experiences for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 that cultivate coding and digital literacy skills which include STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, art & design and maths. They focus on creative uses of technology to inspire students in these subjects and create lasting knowledge. 

 

Our home educate program offers 1/2 day, full day, or a 6 session course (1.5 hours per session)

An experienced tutor will come to your home to guide your child/children through unique learning experiences. All our tutors have Enhanced DBS checks and appropriate safeguarding.

 

These courses are designed by educators and Industry professionals who are specialists in their fields. These sessions are for up to 2 students.

Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality

Students will learn to model using 3D creation tools, animate using block coding, or experiment with advanced scripting (Javascript). Students will create their own bespoke virtual environments. Students will need access to a smart-phone and laptop/desktop.

Ages 7 - 13

Coding with scratch & makecode

Students will explore different coding projects using two block coding languages. They will build projects, games, stories, music and animations. They will also have the opportunity to mod minecraft. A laptop/desktop is required. 

Ages 6 - 10

Adobe Masterclass

Adobe masterclass will teach students about Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. This will include tailored projects for students to learn different skills in projects that they want to work on. Students will need access to a laptop/desktop.

Ages 8 - 15

Robot Building micro:bit pt.1

Students will build their own vehicle which will complete a series of challenges. Using micro:bit students will have the option to hack their vehicle and program it either using block coding languages or more complex languages such as Python.  Students will need access to a laptop/desktop.

Ages 7 - 13

Robot Building micro:bit pt.2 

Students will build on the knowledge from pt.1 and get to modify and build forklifts and other mechanical add-ons. They will then have the opportunity to explore more complex programming with these mechanical addons. Students will need access to a  laptop/desktop.

Ages 7 - 13

GAME
DESIGN

Students will get to design their own games whilst also learning block coding, or Javascript. Students will work through a series of challenges and design tasks. . Students will need access to a laptop/desktop.

Ages 8 - 13

Adventures with ozobots

Students will learn the basics of computer programming, complete a quest, and see their code come to life through tiny, interactive robots.

Students will need access to a tablet.

Ages 5 - 9

Mini

coders

Young coders get to learn coding through several different robots. Students get to build, play and experiment with robotic augmented reality and explore their creativity, by completing levels and tasks. Students will need access to a tablet.
