Students will learn how to code using the micro:bit as a micro-contollor whilst also getting familiar with block coding. Students can program their micro:bit using block coding, or more advanced languages such as Python. Students will need a micro:bit to partake in this. They are low cost hardware (around £30). With addtional hardawre they can become more complex projects for further learning.
This will be conducted online with 1:1 support from one of our expert tutors, who holds an Enhanced DBS and all safeguarding documentation. This course can run over 6 or 12 x 1 hour sessions to be completed in a maximum of 6 weeks, which can be scheduled at your convenience.
Students will need access to a laptop/desktop.
